13 days left and I'm Nesting

I've just been busy getting things perfect for when our baby comes home. I have discovered that things have changed since my last baby (4 years ago).

For example...when did these happen?

When did these come back? And, why am I even considering using them??

How cool is this? I want one!

Not to mention all the cute homemade stuff from Etsy. Yikes...I hope I don't go overboard.

Please tell me you're kidding about the diapers! I agree, the rest of the stuff is cool...but the diapers. Yikes. :)

I am serious...just imagine all the money I'd save. Though, I am thinking I won't have as many offers to babysit from our favorite babysitter :)

Umm, you ARE crazy Jen. I created my own username on this blogging stuff just to tell you there is no way I'll be changing diapers if you use cloth. Be a team player. I'll buy all the disposable diapers you want!

:)

HAHAHAHAHAHA. I knew Jeff would nix that idea. Ugh...I baby-sat for a little girl once that had a cloth diaper. I almost threw up.

You guys are too funny! Poop is poop...stinks just the same. The only difference would be the diaper pail/laundering of the cloth diapers and that would be taken care of by me and only me. Do I have any supporters out there?!

I'm so excited for you and your nesting. That picture of the swing with the sweet baby in it makes me wonder...are you open to hiring a nanny?? (and sorry, I'm with Jeff)

jen, i think you may be alone on this one. i would have no desire to scrub out poop of a diaper, becuase you know that stuff has got to stain. eww! though, a girl in my ward uses cloth, and then disposables only for church, other outings, and babysitters. so that could be an option for you. but, would you really want to add one more thing to your to do list.

go grocery shopping... check
pick the girls up... check
make dinner... check
scrub out poopy cloth diapers... ?

Jen, You go girl! I did cloth diapers back in the day. I have to admit that it is s work but who's afraid of work. I did look forward to using Paper diapers on vacations. I remembered you kids got rashes with paper?? What ever you decide this baby will be the luckiest. Love, Grandma Pope

HA! HA! I was totally oohing and awing over that very same swing just last night. I was trying to figure out if the grandma's both put their Christmas money together then how much I would have to put towards it too, just so I can get it!!! Great minds must think alike!
