Tree of Life

Jeff was asked to play the part of Lehi and teach the children in our primary about the Tree of Life during a primary activity.

To read the whole story go here.

I knew that wig we bought Jeff for Halloween a couple of years ago would come in handy again someday!

Holding on to the iron rod...

The Tree of Life, the ultimate goal.

London eating the most desirable fruit.

I'm a very visual/hands-on learner and though I've read Lehi's vision several times, I felt like I learned so much more seeing my children and husband act out the parts. The tree of life truly teaches us the importance of the choices that we make and the importance of continuing down the correct path, though the things around us may distract us. And, as a Mother, I'm more motivated than ever to learn and progress and teach my children to do the same. Mortality seems so much more important now that I have children to raise and teach!!
